Our department comprises 250 members of faculty, postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, technicians, and core staff members. Many of our faculty have laboratories both on the main campus and at other sites, including the Longwood Medical Area and Massachusetts General Hospital.

Leadership

The Chair of HSCRB is Paola Arlotta, Golub Family Professor of Stem Cell and Regenerative Biology, who has strategic oversight of the department.

The department is co-chaired by Amy Wagers, Forst Family Professor of Stem Cell and Regenerative Biology, who focuses on maximizing the impact of cross-school interactions.

Our Faculty

The diversity of disciplines among our faculty is truly unique, and continually pushes us to look at problems from many perspectives. Visit our faculty page to discover more about our research community.

Administration

HSCRB Administration supports our laboratories to ensure they are run efficiently and in compliance with laws, policies, and best practice. HSCRB Administration is led by Natalie Durham, Executive Director.

Communications team

We welcome inquiries from journalists, and encourage members of the HSCRB community to share news about upcoming papers. Please contact Joelle Zaslow, Communications Officer.

Core Facilities Team

Our core facilities support scientific researchers both within Harvard and across the Boston area. Core facility staff in HSCRB provide highly specialized services that cannot be supplied by an individual laboratory.
