Quan Pham

Quan is currently a research assistant in the Melton lab. During his undergraduate, Quan studied the cellular infiltration in the spinal cord of multiple sclerosis mouse models following transplantation of human neural precursor cells in Dr. Walsh lab at UC Irvine. After graduation, Quan joined the Melton lab and has been working with his mentor, Ronny, to study the mTOR pathway and its role in the maturation process in pancreatic beta cells. When not in the lab, Quan enjoys traveling, experiencing different types of food, and taking lots of Instagram-worthy photos.
