Eva Tomczyk (Evie) is the Senior Research Compliance Manager at HSCRB. She provides ethics and compliance support to labs working with human biospecimens and data, assisting with things like Material Transfer Agreements (MTAs) and submissions to the IRB and ESCRO committees. She also provides administrative support to the HSCI iPS Core Facility. Evie has an M.S. in Nutrition Science with a focus on nutritional biochemistry and epidemiology. She came to HSCRB with experience working in Boston-area hospitals as a Spanish medical interpreter, a quality manager in cancer clinical trials, and an IRB administrator. Outside of work Evie enjoys relaxing, eating sumo oranges, running 5Ks very, very slowly, and tutoring adult learners in ESL and biology.
