Amie Holmes, Ph.D., HSCRB Assistant Director of Undergraduate Studies, is a recipient of the 2020 Star Family Prize for Excellence in Advising. The award recognizes individuals who contribute to Harvard College through their exemplary intellectual and personal guidance of undergraduate students.

Holmes is recognized for her outstanding concentration advising. In HSCRB, she manages the Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology (HDRB) concentration by providing guidance and support to students, overseeing the undergraduate thesis program, and designing and teaching courses.

“Now more than ever, we are grateful to all of our advisers for their dedication to our students,” said Sindhumathi Revuluri, Harvard’s associate dean of undergraduate education. “These awardees exemplify the many facets of our advising network and the multiple sources of support and mentorship available to our students.”
