Jessica Garbern, Ph.D., M.D.
Dr. Jessica Garbern is a post-doctoral fellow in the Lee Lab. Dr. Garbern completed her MD/PhD in bioengineering at the University of Washington in Seattle. She subsequently completed her clinical training in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology at Boston Children’s Hospital. She is an attending at Boston Children’s Hospital focused on heart failure and cardiomyopathies and is interested in future clinical translation of stem cell-based cardiomyocyte therapies. As a post-doctoral fellow in the Lee lab, Dr. Garbern studies cardiomyocyte maturation and strategies to minimize immune system detection of stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes. She will be presenting a seminar titled “Maturation of stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes in 3D suspension via FOXO-FOXM1 regulation”.

Feodor Price, Ph.D.
Dr. Feodor Price is a Principal Scientist in the Rubin Lab. Dr. Price completed his Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Medicine at the University of Ottawa. His research is translational in nature and geared towards studying how adult skeletal muscle stem cells are involved in regulating muscle regeneration. Dr. Price will be presenting a seminar titled “A novel cell therapy platform for the treatment of skeletal muscle conditions”.
