Tanya Thrasher is the Research Compliance Coordinator at HSCRB. She serves as point person for iPS Core fee-for-service activities, reviews grant proposals for compliance with existing protocols, and assists in drafting/editing/submitting IRB and ESCRO applications, renewals, and amendments.
Tanya has a M.S. in Forensic Science with a focus on Criminalistics. She came to HSCRB with experience working in multiple Boston-area hospitals as a pathology/autopsy technician and a research administrator in a genetics lab. Tanya has spent the past four years working with human iPSCs and painstakingly differentiating them into pancreatic beta islet cells and cardiomyocytes. When she is not at work, she enjoys running, baking, and trying out new tap rooms. Tanya’s biggest love is her family, which consists of her husband, her sweet son and daughter, and her 19-year-old kitty, Bijoux.
