Sarah Hetman is the Administrative Coordinator for Academic Affairs for SCRB. She manages the Academic Appointees’ onboarding, reappointments, leaves, transitions, and monthly payroll processes for the department. Her portfolio includes Academic Appointees in all Labs and as well as the IPS Core. She advises and supports the department regarding visas, LACRM, and appointment classifications. Before coming to Harvard in 2019, she spent a decade teaching on the South Shore of Massachusetts in both K-12 as well as Community College settings, during which she earned her Juris Doctor, and was admitted to the MA Bar in 2011. She has been a private musical instructor for over 20 years, and resides in a home enlivened by rescued animals, instruments, and books.
