Navid Ghaffari is the Assistant Director of Graduate Studies and Lecturer, overseeing the MS/MBA Biotechnology: Life Sciences dual degree program with the Harvard Business School. He engages in program leadership, advises MS/MBA students, and teaches in a number of courses in the department, including Next Generation Biotechnology and Frontiers in Therapeutics. A native of southern California, Navid received his bachelor’s degree in Neurobiology from the University of California, Irvine and then spent half a year in Switzerland investigating the epigenetics of PTSD and memory. Navid received his MD from Harvard Medical School and is interested in the intersection of science, medicine, and business. He is passionate about helping others and making learning fun, clear, and memorable. Outside of work, Navid enjoys traveling, languages, and history.
