I joined the Macklis lab in October 2017. I received a BS in neuroscience from the University of Vermont in Burlington, VT. My past research experience includes using optogenetics in REM sleep studies and implanting interneurons in rodent models of epilepsy. I enjoy learning from the Macklis lab’s talented researchers and assisting them in their exploration of the frontiers of developmental biology. When I’m not in the lab, I volunteer with organizations in the Boston area, spend time with friends and family, and have several hobbies which include listening to music, hiking, visiting art galleries, and weightlifting.
