Julia Thulander

Julia is a full time animal technician in the axolotl facility. She has a B.S. in biology from Dickinson College and a M.S. in biology from Tennessee Tech University. During her masters degree she worked on defining the thermal tolerance of streamside salamanders (Ambystoma barbouri) and designed methods to raise the species in captivity. In her free time she enjoys reading, hiking, and crocheting.
