I joined the Macklis Lab in March 2021. I earned my BS in Biochemistry from the University of Michigan, where I researched novel Cas proteins for use in CRISPR gene editing at the Zhang Lab. My scientific interests lie in exploring powerful molecular tools/techniques, and furthering their practical applications. I primarily assist the members of the Macklis Lab with cloning and protein work, and enjoy the opportunity to take part in cutting edge research.
