I am a sophomore at the college and joined the lab in February 2019. I currently work with John Froberg, a postdoctoral fellow, to study the function of the protein TDP-43 in the cortical projection neurons while obtaining knowledge about molecular biology through performing lab experiments. Further investigations of this protein would aid in future research regarding treatments of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
I am from San Jose, the city in the middle/north-ish part of the burnt-dry-golden state of California. I’ve lived there since 2015. On campus, I am a part of the Harvard MEDLIFE Chapter (Medicine, Education, and Development for Low-income Families Everywhere) and other cultural, public service, and human rights organizations. Outside academia, I enjoy playing badminton, hip-hop dancing, backpack traveling, and binge-watching/reading/creating travel vlogs/blogs.
