Department Administration & Personnel
We are dedicated to supporting faculty members and department managers to hire and manage temporary, term, and permanent staff employees who support and carry out the HSCRB mission of teaching and research. We develop and post staff positions, assist hiring managers to interview and select candidates, process staff and student employee appointments and personnel actions, orient new hires, manage payrolls, salary increase and performance evaluation processes, and provide guidance on applicable FAS and University human resources policies.
We also manage department events and communications, including the HSCRB website, schedule conference rooms, and work with faculty and staff to manage phones, mail services, shared copiers, furniture, facilities access and other departmental resources in support of the Bauer Laboratory and Sherman Fairchild Building work environment.
