I received my degree in Pharmacy from the University of Barcelona in Spain in 2012. During my studies, I was engaged in several research projects. For example, I was given the opportunity to spend a year in the Rajagopal lab at the Massachusetts General Hospital investigating the importance of Trp63 in airway stem cell behavior and lung regeneration.
After completing my undergraduate studies, I joined the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Switzerland, to pursue my doctoral degree under the supervision of Professor Wilhelm Krek. With a Spanish fellowship from the "la Caixa" Foundation I came to SCRB in 2013 as a visiting student. Under the guidance of Professor Ya-Chieh Hsu and Professor John Rinn, I am investigating how the lncRNA Crnde regulates mouse hair follicle stem cell behavior.
I spend my free time doing sports, meeting friends, traveling and exploring New England.
