I am a pre-med student from Maryland with interests in regenerative medicine and global health. Since high school, I have been fascinated by stem cells and curious about their promising implications for clinical medicine. With more research and testing, they have the potential to radically alter and improve the way we approach treatment of a variety of conditions, including neurodegenerative and cardiovascular diseases.
I am amazed by how the body naturally sustains and heals itself, and I find it ingenious that we can mimic these natural processes to correct the harmful effects of disease. Nevertheless, my interests extend beyond just science.
I love music, international travel, service, and public speaking. I am passionate about a lot of things and am always looking for new ways to combine them!
